About Kisha
Kisha has always had a passion for planning, since her elementary years, when she planned outings for friends and coordinated every little detail, and to her, nothing was more fun! Her natural tenacity led her to the office of President of her high school class where she got her first taste of official event planning.
She went on to college where she received top honors. During her college years, Kisha gained employment at a Fortune 100 company. After only a short amount of time, she was promoted to Regional Coordinator. In that much sought after position, Kisha planned some of the company’s largest events, with guest lists of over a thousand people. She excelled at managing large staffs, keeping all aspects of the department and events running smoothly, and she was nationally recognized for her eye for creativity, beauty and detail.
Kisha’s friends and family greatly valued her skills and talents and began asking her advice on every detail for their own upcoming weddings and events. She took on the role of Planner for these events, organizing well past the “I do’s” and the blowing out of the candles. At one point, she was planning such a large number of family and friend’s weddings and events, she joked with her mother that she should turn event planning into a full time career! Not too long after, Kisha became engaged to her college sweetheart. Now it was her turn to plan a dream wedding for herself! She realized that she wasn’t stressed over planning these events, not even her own wedding! She reveled in each step and found herself happier than she had been in ages. Kisha realized she wanted to be a part of a wedding or special event everyday. She wanted to be a part of making others’ dreams come true just like she was making her dreams come true.
A few months later she left the corporate world, became a Certified Wedding and Event Planner and started Pure Ambiance, a company whose name encompasses the special characteristic she feels every event should possess.
